Andrea Alimenti

chef alimentiChef Andrea Alimenti is the executive chef of the restaurant Acquamatta in Capolona near Arezzo, and partner of the same restaurant together with Paolo Pasquini (maitre d’) and Leonardo Motolese (chef).  He received his chef’s diploma at the Aurelio Saffi Florence Hotel School in 1983. Since then Chef Alimenti has gained experience abroad working on a Carribean cruise ship and catering for private parties in New York. He has taught culinary courses in Sydney at the ANA Harbour Hotel and at the Dursit Thani College in Bangkok.

Two of the restaurants he worked in in Florence received a Michelin Star as did his own restaurant Acquamatta, which has also received excellent reviews in gastronomic guide books.
